About Jodi Lawyer

Jodi  Lawyer is the author of Mag the Mighty Marshmallow, the fun-loving marshmallow who teaches us it's acceptable to be simultaneously soft and strong. She enjoys creating rhyming stories and whimsical poetry, puts into practice ‘play is the best way to array’ (words and rhyme). Born and raised in Minnesota, Jodi currently lives in Minneapolis, however, lived for a few years in the Blue Grass State, melting in the heat while attending graduate school. Jodi is a former pediatric occupational therapist and spent many years creating songs and stories with her clients. She wears the "mom hat" for Hayden and Emma, but they aren't little anymore and have since traded Barbie cars for the real deal.
